The residential program combines a structured independent living component with supportive counseling and an educational component to create an effective intervention for youth 16-24 struggling with behavior, homelessness, substance abuse. Our independent living support transitional youth that is aged out of DSS as well. These locations will cater towards the need of the individual.
Street outreach is conducted by C4R, Inc case management staff and trained outreach volunteers, who seek out homeless, trouble teens, and run away youth on the street of North Carolina to encourage youth to access resources available through C4R, Inc. Our case management team will work along with the Department of Juvenile Justice, DSS, and others for referrals and resources.
The Adolescent Substance Abuse Outpatient Program of C4R, Inc. provides services to residents of Vance, Granville, and Franklin Counties. Our program offers comprehensive assessments, individual, group and family therapy. We also offer a parenting education and support group for parents of children with substance abuse concerns.
Through this program, youth gain: Positive peer and adult relationship skills, Communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills, leadership, self-efficacy, and self esteem, community awareness and engagement, and project planning skills.
